Workshop at the National Center for Child Health and Development

2002 – 2003

I ran a hands-on workshop, which involved sound and images, held by the group “elefuntone.” The goal is for participants to naturally perceive sounds and images, master the handling of information, and acquire the ability to express themselves.

It was a workshop for learning how to handle information and how to express oneself through media such as images and sounds.

I made artworks together with inpatients of the National Center for Child Health and Development.
The artworks we produced were displayed in the hospital’s reception lobby, along with a questionnaire box. Those who created the artworks were given completed questionnaires that had feedback on their works.

I was reminded once again that one way for the creators (hospitalized patients) to interact with people living outside the hospital is for them to exhibit their creations and get feedback.
